Preservation

Hanley-64

My super-talented cousin Melanie (of Melanie Isaak Photography, highly recommended) took some family photos for us.  Because I’ve been anxious about Tim’s blood clot, my emotions have been a bit raw the last couple weeks.  As a result, I’ve tried to make the happy moments with my family last as long as possible.  Just up to my old antics, trying to freeze time and such, except with increased fervor.   So when Melanie sent the CD with our photos, I may have cried a little.

Photos are important to me – documenting memories, capturing developmental stages, recording happiness.  Photos help me do the impossible – they freeze time.

Thank you Melanie!

Beautiful family! I love the photos she took - they are perfect! And I agree - photos are the best way to freeze time. We've been praying for Tim (and you). When will you know that the fear of the blood clot has passed? How long does that take? Love and prayers continuing to roll your way!

That Melanie is pretty good at preserving memories and you're pretty good at creating them. Love these photos of your family and sincerely look forward to seeing many more in the future.

I hope you blow up the one where Amelia's pointing at her nose and put it front and center in your living room. It really is my favorite, although they're all wonderful.
