Squiggles, protector of canines

It was a bit nippy out today, but we decided to go to the pond anyway.  Squiggles brought her Golden Retriever, because she can’t go anywhere without it.  She has been taking it to preschool with her.  Yesterday I told her that the puppy wanted to stay home and sit on the couch while she went to school, and she said, “No Mama.  My doggy want see Miss Mama!”  (“Miss Mama” is what she calls Miss Aimee, her beloved teacher.)

We stopped at our usual spot to throw rocks in the pond and admire the geese.  One particularly loud goose got out of the water and walked toward Squiggles.  She stared him straight in the eye and shouted, “No eat my doggy!”

Oh yes, beautiful day and pictures, even if it was cold!

Those rabid stuffed-dog-eating geese had better watch out. There's a new sheriff in town.

If coats and hats means a "bit nippy", then I'm not sure I ever want to visit the East coast. Looks like a fun outing.

I just read your past post and I think I need a pregnant barbie also :)

Squiggles looks like she goes with that stuffed puppy like hand-and-glove. Both, adorable. So, are you and/or Tim up for getting a real dog some day? :) I bet she'll be asking for one, and I don't think I've ever ask you about your opinion on 'pets'!

Love the six month pic of your belly! The days are moving forward to meeting baby girl #2!
