Most of my readership is well acquainted with the concept of a trunk-or-treat, which is a safe way for kids to get a LOT of candy in a short period of time. Instead of going from house-to-house (which carries risks of razors, poison, and/or abduction), you go to a church parking lot and go from trunk-to-trunk where people you know hand out their year’s supply of sugar.
In the Arlington Ward, everybody meets inside first for halloween-themed games, a cakewalk, donuts on a string, and a costume parade. Even Tim had to admit it was fun.
Sting or spray? These gals came with serious candy bargaining power.
Lance and Mason came as a couple bums.
Ivy lived up to her “Little Stinker” costume by snitching a cupcake from the cakewalk table.
Don’t worry, she snitched one for Squiggles, too, because she’s darling like that.
Bryn taught Squiggles her infamous “Bee Dance.”

The time finally came to go outside and collect some cavities.
Squiggles loved the entire evening, but didn’t catch onto the candy overload concept. She was content with a couple pieces of candy. After that she just wanted to run around like a crazy head in the parking lot.
Ivy, on the other hand, was a pro at getting candy.
Squiggles is sometimes confused about who she loves most. She would not go near me if Aunt Cami was within a 50-foot radius.
Mason mostly hung out in his stroller and let people bring candy to him. Smart, smart boy.
And even though the neighbors will probably be handing out cyanide coated razors inside their candy, were going to go old-fashioned trick-or-treating on Monday.

Trunk-or-treats are great! Looks like you all had a great time. Squiggles makes a darling bee!
I didn't realize regular trick-or-treating had gotten so dangerous. I was going to just hand out candy this year, but now I think I'll go with the razors.
Is is just me, or is your little bee's hair turning the color of honey?
Squiggles looks adorable in her little Bee costume! Looks like you guys had lots of fun.
That was a fun trunk or treat. I liked that our family cluster constituted like half of the people there. :)
We're also going good old-fashioned trick-or-treating on Monday.
Halloween, Roman Catholic Style does not have these cakewalks you speak of. Pray tell, who gets to clean up all of the cake after you've trod upon it?!?
We had a Trunk-or-Treat today and collected some cavities of our very own. Nobody was as cute as Squiggles in her Bee costume though.
Maybe Cami should be a brunette and pierce her nose for real?
Well, if I had an Aunt Roberta, Cami would remind me of her. It took me three times through to recognize her. I do love that you three (Laura, Cami, and Lance)can be together to entertain the world and be cute! Everyone looks adorable. Look out for the poisoned apples tonight!
Squiggles is the most perfectest, cutest bee on the planet - she's so adorable! And I love that the bee dance is being passed down. :) Happy Halloweening tonight! Boo.
Oh, I should also say: If you want to trick-or-treat at our house, we do happen to have several bars of Swiss Chocolate on our shelves at the moment. ;)
1- Squiggles looks adorable.
2- All my nieces and nephews look adorable.
3- I can't believe Tim had a good time.
4- What the hell is Cami wearing??
Everything looks just perfect except for Karen's language. Watch your phrasology, young lady.
All I can say is - ADORABLE!!!!
SO DANG ADORABLE! Trunk or Treat is it now, it's the new improved SAFE way. Kinda nice for the parents, easy, doesn't require driving all over the place with gas prices so high... It's got it's perks.
I have to admit that I didn't realize it was Cami either until the second picture with a caption! Wow! The kids look pretty good too!:)
