Hot date

Tim’s mom offered to take Squiggles for the night so that we could have some alone time.  She’s awesome like that.  We have become quite good at finding groupons and coupons, and found one for one of our favorite Indian restaurants:  Indian Delight, in Weymouth, MA.  We really like them because when we tell them we like our dishes really spicy, they believe us.

We also like them because they’re super friendly.  Our dinner special came with rice pudding for dessert.  I love me some rice pudding, but Tim – not so much.  So (obviously) I ate both our portions.  Our waiter noted my gluttony and offered, most sincerely, to bring me another bowl of pudding “for the baby.”  I declined.  Hesitantly.

We thought about going to a movie, but decided to take a walk along the ocean  and explore some salt marshes instead since it was a nice evening.

We ended the evening with the local teeny-boppers at Swizzles, where they sell frozen yogurt and toppings by the ounce -  I’m a fan.  And… we were by far the oldest people there.

Any date that includes dinner at an Indian restaurant is a hot date! And I'm with Tim on the rice pudding thing.

Great date night. I believe in them, especially for students working every minute for survival! The meal looked delicious. I love rice pudding, but only if my mother makes it...which she doesn't lately! Tell Michele thanks for me! She is a wonderful grandmother. And give Squiggles a hug...just for fun! From me, of course!

I believe in dates even for those that can park in the senior citizen spots. It always does wonders for the marriage and the soul. Keep it up. Once a week at least. Twice a week is better. I'll watch the baby if you will email her to me.

Yummy! (for the Indian food, the rice pudding, and the frozen yogurt.)

Beautiful! (for the photo of you and Tim, and for the lake).

Glad you guys got some alone time together - with your schedules that would be like gold!

Mmm...that food looks so good. I'm starving! Joe loves a good Indian restaurant so we may need to give that one a try some time.

Oh, you two and your hot dates. Let's double some time. Bryn's about old enough to babysit the whole crew now, right?
