More Baby

Baby A has a tendency to kick, wiggle, squirm, punch, spaz, and convulse... almost constantly when she is awake, which (I think) is why Lance has nicknamed her Squiggles. The moment she was expelled from my womb, she was fully capable of rolling from her back to either side.

Last week, when she was merely two weeks old, I set her on my bed and she immediately rolled from her back to her stomach. Naughty, naughty baby. I'm sure these movements are not intentional, but she can't be trusted for a second on raised objects.

I tried to get her rolling on camera, but she put on her innocent act. I'll post it anyway, in case anybody wants to see a wicked cute baby.

Ooohh, she is wicked cute! She's pretty good at sneezing too! That is crazy that she is already rolling over!! You said she liked to move in your stomach, and you have now been completely justified in that claim!

Look at her move! Very cute. Thanks for filming!

I remember the stories you told me of her kicking both you and Tim awake when she was "in womb" so I'm not surprized that she's just as, if not more, squiggly now that she has more space to move around in!

Keep the pics and videos coming!
Can't wait to meet her!

I watched this with all of my kids this morning about a bazillion times. We all (including Ivy) oohed and ahhed over Baby α. Good luck ever catching her on film doing something you want her to do. It never happens. Ever.

You should think about putting her in gymnastics soon.

This may seem a bit excessive since I just met her, but I can't help it. I. L-O-V-E her!

I found a link to your blog on my sister Michelle Call's blog, and don't think I am weird, but I just loved reading about your preemie. Nine years ago we were blessed with our first baby seven weeks before her due date, and reading your blog brought the emotions flooding back. Coincidentally I came upon your blog just after her ninth birthday which made me even more sentimental. I hope you don't mind but I will probably peek back now and then for updates on your sweet Baby A.
