What a doll! I'm so glad everyone is doing okay! I didn't realize when I said goodbye and good luck to you at the funeral it would be for so soon! What a way to end this pregnancy, huh?! I guess now Heidi and I will have to endure together while being buoyed up with cute pictures of you little one in the weeks to follow!
She is SOOO beautiful! I can't get over her perfect little fingers! I hope things go well for you all. As for names--I'm kind of leaning toward Lucinda. . . . . Maybe we'll get to see her before you head back east :-)
That labor & delivery story has to be one of the fastest "first born" labor & delivery stories I've ever heard (usually first borns take a little longer).
I don't know Tim - she doesn't look stubborn and fiesty in that picture - she looks very much at peace. :)

Congratulations Laura! You are such a trooper! So many hard times, which by the way... I am so sorry I didn't make it to your grandma's funeral- I remember she would pick me up once a week when I was a teen and we would go over to the church to do name extractions... she was one of the first old ladies (other than my owm grandma's) that I fell in love with, which I think had a great deal to do with my choice in being a nurse... she was the sweetest lady ever and I truly have a special place in my heart for her- what a tremendous influence- I am so sorry for your loss! And now about your baby...she is gorgeous and what an entrance huh?!! There is nothing better than babies, what a blessing... can't wait to hear the whole story! I would love to see you if possible before you go home... contact me if it seems possible, otherwise just know that I love ya and wish you the best with all the big adventures ahead!! She is seriously the most beautiful preemie baby ever born! I'm so jealous of the hair! My mom says she is the exact same size, length and early as I was. I feel connected to her already!
I feel like good fortune is smiling on us because she is so healthy and because we get to come up and see her this week! I can't wait to meet her in person. We love you all so much. We'll see you on Saturday. Give baby a kiss from all of us, and let us know when you choose a name.

Laura She is so cute and congrats. So what day was she born? I miss you. Julie had her baby girl today, this morning, so your baby girl and my niece are not that far apart, that is so cool. We are so excited and my niece is so cute too, and Joyce is cute!
